Microsoft - Redmond Campus

Microsoft is changing the way they work, create, and innovate. Epic is proud to be installing the campus' building automation system.
Climate Pledge Arena - Seattle, WA
Epic is incredibly proud and excited to be participating in the renovation of an iconic Seattle landmark. The new area is described as "where Seattle's legacy meets Seattle's future." The beautifully renovated arena will host the Seattle Storm and WNBA, along with professional hockey, by fall 2021. The new arena will also host both upcoming artists and the biggest acts in music.
Wentachee Data Center (Yahoo Japan)
Yahoo Japan announced this site in April 2018. This will be Yahoo Japan's second infrastructure project on foreign soil, following a 200-rack facility (also in Washington) in 2014. The upcoming data center is considerably larger. It is expected to come online in Spring 2019. It will span 9,300 square meters, contain 1,600 racks, and will offer a power capacity of up to 16MW. Epic is contracted to install the building automation controls, which include over 200 pressure and temperature sensors for the data hall.
Apple University Village
This new store takes up about 14,000-square-feet of the 23,000-square-foot site that used to be parking with about 8,000-square-feet of sales area. Epic Electric installed the building automation system, and the cable terminations of the large video wall.
Seattle Children's Hospital Building Hope
The structure is a unit called Building Hope, and will add 33,000 square feet for cancer treatment, critical and emergency care on the hospital campus on Sand Point Way Northeast in Seattle. It will house the emergency treatment, critical care unit, a family lounge, gym, 80 single rooms for cancer and critical patients, and what the hospital says will be the country's first dedicated cancer unit for teens and young adults.
Space Needle Renovation
In June 2017, the Space Needle announced its intent to undergo a multi-year renovation venture. One of the most recognized landmarks in the Space Needle's renovation will update the structure's physical systems and elevate the visitor experience by dramatically enhancing the view.
2 + U Office Tower - Seattle, WA
This office building totals 686,000 square feet in space. This includes 17,000 square feet of retail + arts & culture space, 24,000 square feet of covered, outdoor open space, and 18,000 - 30,000 square feet of floor plates. The building lets in substantial, natural daylight and has unobstructed views from floors 19 thru 38. Overall, it is an open urban village with the best in the Pacific Northwest in arts, entertainment, retail, food, and so much more!
